This place is sooo good!!!!! I live in Florida and whenever we are in town I make sure my family takes us to Tom's Dim Sum. The food is so fresh and the flavor is so authentic. I already know what I want to eat when I come back next year
Went for the first time recently. It was really good! Pleased with the quality of food for the price. Made use of the space well with nice decor, can get noisy. Tables by the door can get chilly as it gets colder. Service was great. Staff was attentive and food came quickly. Only real note is that the posted close time was 9:30pm and people were turned away before 8:30pm due to closing. If hours change or the kitchen closes early, just recommend updating or posting that.
Have been there few times for lunch with co-workers. My choices are always delicious! It is served fast and hot every time. And I appreciate the "room where it all happens" PS my family loved our meal when I surprised with some carryout one Friday.

$7.95 for soup dumplings is a STEAL. Stopped in for a solo lunch and it was great. Caters to the demographic of "Chinese takeout" food but some great Shanghainese classics like rice cakes, soup dumplings, and soup noodles. You never find soup dumplings for that price anymore. The skin is a little more thicker that I prefer but to each their own. Gobbled up crab soup dumplings and a plate of Shanghai fried noodles and left happy.
Due to me having a bad cold, I decided to Chinese food via DoorDash. I read the reviews here on my favorite review site and decided to try this restaurant. I ordered the Spring Rolls (2), General Tso's Shrimp and Shrimp Fried Rice. This was my first time trying General Tso's Shrimp and it was very well prepared. The perfect amount of heat and sweet. The Shrimp Fried Rice was freshly prepared and I appreciated the size of the shrimp as well. I wasn't a fan of the Spring Rolls and unfortunately the General Tso's Shrimp were soggy, due to the packaging and travel. One reason I prefer not to use food delivery services. However, I will definitely try them again when I'm well and can visit in person.
Tom's is still good, but somehow, not as good as pre-pandemic Tom's. Plus there is a direct competitor - Dim Sumania - 2 doors down with the original onwer and some of the staff. Meanwhile, Har Gao (Crystal Shrimp Dumpling) are always tasty and the roast pork (cold) appetizer was good, too. Tables were sticky, but the server wiped our table down when we asked them to.
